For sale a beautiful, unrestored and super rare nowadays, last year of production, vintage 1959 BMW R69.
BMW produced just over 2,800 R69 models between 1955 and 1959, and this example left the factory with traditional Avus black paint job and white pinstriping.Original paint bike – they are original only once‼️
Features consist of a stock, small fuel tank with a locking storage compartment on the side, a Denfeld bench saddle, a chrome, super rare and desirable HELLA headlight trim, center stand, and a side stand. Additionally Earles leading-link fork, a friction-plate steering damper, Weinmann alloy rims, a frame-mounted tire pump, a NOS chrome dual exhaust system, and a hinged rear fender. This R69 is now offered with an owner’s manual, a BMW tool kit, a BMW shop rag, and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name. Matching triple numbers.
The bike starts readily and runs like a dream.
New Hidenau tires, front and back. Measured compression at 125psi in both cylinders.

The BMW R 69 VIN 654432 was manufactured on October 14th, 1959 and delivered on October 27th, 1959 to the BMW importer Butler & Smith in New York City. The bike was equipped with a bench seat. The motorcycle was sold and titled as a 1960 model, which was a common practice back in the days.
