SOLD OUT – 1965 BMW R50/2

  • For sale a 1965 BMW R50/2.

    This bike is a great buy for someone looking for a rider and not worry about pristine condition and paint scratches.

    The BMW R 50/2 VIN 64XXXX was manufactured on July 01st, 1963 and delivered on July 08th, 1963 to the BMW importer Butler & Smith in New York City. The bike was equipped with a bench seat.

    Bike was sold originally in 1965 hence it was titled as 1965 which was a common practice back in the days!

    Mechanically in great shape, original paint in average to fair condition, paint chips spots, scratches and dents especially on the rear fender. Moreover, bike still looks quite pretty and presentable.

    MATCHING all 3 VIN NUMBERS, frame, motor and frame tag. I am the 3 owner.

    In Addition,

    * New Tires Front and Back,

    * New Benchmark Works Side Stand,

    * New Eber Petcock,

    * New dual tractor seats,

    * Stainless steel exhaust,

    * Bar end turn signals,

    * New tire air pump.

    * New Horn

    * New HI-LO wire harness

    * New miscellaneous rubber pieces,

    Recent maintenance: oils changed, oil pan dropped and cleaned, timing and valves set. Runs and rides excellent. Clutch and brakes work well, gearbox goes through all 4 gears as it should. Lights, also all work as intended.

    OEM Bench seat included in this sale.

    I have ridden the bike on many occasionsand shifted all 4 gears – It was a PLEASURE!

    Those bikes are getting much harder to find and have great following. Ride it home wherever you live.

    “The Earles Forks and opposing cylinder engine always get a lot of attention.”
