  • 1979 Harley Davidson XLH-1000 Sportster Ironhead. Matching frame and engine vin numbers, clean title. Runs and rides. Needs nothing.

     

    This bike has undergone several modifications to enhance its user-friendliness and reliability.

    In 2020-21, the engine and transmission received expert attention at the reputable shop “River City Performance.” The cylinders were bored 2nd over, Wiseco pistons were installed, and head work was performed. The transmission was thoroughly inspected and tuned. The bike also received larger Andrews cams, and the DYNA ignition was enhanced with performance coils placed under the gas tank. During its time at the shop, the chain, sprockets, shocks, and springs were all replaced with new ones. To ensure smooth starting and optimal performance, a CV carb was installed, complementing all the other modifications made to the engine.

    As a result of these improvements, the bike starts effortlessly and offers an immensely enjoyable riding experience.
